Job Purpose

The Content Writer / Content Development Executive will be responsible for developing high-quality training and operational content based on inputs received from field operations, business teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs). The role requires converting operational insights into structured, engaging, and impactful learning materials, training modules, SOPs, presentations, manuals, assessments, videos, and digital content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop training content, learning modules, SOPs, manuals, process documents, and communication material based on operational inputs received from the ground teams.
  • Coordinate with operations teams, SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to gather relevant inputs and convert them into structured learning content.
  • Design and develop engaging training materials including PPTs, facilitator guides, participant handbooks, assessments, videos, and e-learning content.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with operational requirements, business goals, and learning objectives.
  • Review, edit, and update existing content regularly to maintain relevance and accuracy.
  • Create visually appealing and learner-friendly content using modern content development tools and software.
  • Support in developing certification programs, knowledge repositories, and learning interventions.
  • Maintain consistency in content quality, formatting, branding, and language standards.
  • Conduct research and benchmarking to improve content effectiveness and instructional quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand evolving business and training requirements.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in MS Office Suite (Advanced PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Hands-on experience in content creation and designing software/tools such as:
    • Canva
    • Articulate Storyline / Rise
    • Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
    • Camtasia / Video Editing Tools
    • AI-enabled content creation tools
    • LMS content management tools (preferred)
  • Strong formatting, presentation design, and visual storytelling skills.

Functional Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong content writing, proofreading, and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to translate operational inputs into structured learning content.
  • Strong instructional design and storytelling approach.
  • Attention to detail and quality orientation.
  • Good stakeholder management and coordination skills.

Educational Qualification

  • General Graduate or Post Graduate
  • Graduate / Post Graduate in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Education, HR, Training, or related field will be preferable
  • Certification in Instructional Design / Content Development will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • Fresher or 1 to 2 years of experience in content writing, training content development, instructional design, or learning content creation.
  • Prior experience in operations-driven content development will be preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Creative thinker with a strong eye for detail.
  • Ability to understand operational challenges and convert them into impactful training content.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects within timelines.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training methodologies will be an added advantage.
