This “Privacy Policy for Company Owned Mobile Device Tracking” (Hereinafter referred to as “this Privacy Policy”) is supplementary to the Privacy Policy provided in the website of TCIL and its mobile application. This Policy summaries the tracking of company-owned mobile devices used by the employees GPS technology during working hours through with the consent of our said employees. The tracking aims to improve attendance management, to provide better route guidance to our employees, monitoring employee safety, optimizing field operations, and ensuring timely customer service.
This policy applies to only those employees, who are using the company-owned mobile devices and have given their specific written consent for tracking. The tracking will start once an employee log-in to the company’s mobile application and will immediately stop once the said employee logged out of the mobile application.
Before tracking the company-owned mobile device being used by any of the employee, an explicit written consent shall be taken from the said employee for his/her mobile device to be tracked during working hours. Employees can withdraw their consent at any time by notifying their supervisors and the HR department.
